Driving Licence

All drivers must produce a full, valid driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months prior to the commencement of the rental. (Non UK licences must be valid for a minimum of 24 months prior to the rental). Drivers from overseas must produce a licence which is valid in their own country and where necessary an international driving permit.

Endorsments

Certain minor endorsments are acceptable to our insurers. Please advise our reception staff of all endorsments when making your resevation so that they can be validated prior to the rental.

Age Limits

Drivers must be aged over 23 and under 70years old. Drivers under 25 years old may be excluded from driving certain categories of vehicle.

Additional Drivers

We can authorise as many drivers as you require. Insurance for additional drivers is charged at £3.00 per day.

Insurance

All of our vehicles are comprehensively insured. Our policy carries an excess of £750.00 for which the driver may be held liable if any damage is deemed to have been his responsibility. This excess can be reduced to £100.00 by paying a collision damage waiver of £5.00 per day (£5.00 for mpvs minibuses and trucks).

Fuel

All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel. If vehicles are returned full, the customer's deposit will be refunded. Vehicles requiring to be refuelled will have the fuelling cost, charged at our current rate, deducted from the returnable deposit.

Payment

The estimated cost of the rental and optional Collision Damage Waiver is payable at the time of collection, along with a refundable deposit of £100.00 (see Fuel above).

Advance Bookings

Advance bookings for mpvs and minibuses require payment of the £100.00 deposit to secure the vehicle. In the event of cancellation more than 7 days prior to the date of the booking this deposit will be refunded.

Delivery & Collection

Delivery and collection can be arranged at the location of your choice. Please ask for details.

Child Seats

Baby seats and booster seats for older children are available at a charge of £10.00 per rental.

Roofracks & Towbars (Commercial Vehicles)

Roof racks / bars and can be fitted at a charge of £10.00 per rental.Some vehicles have towbars fitted. Please specify if this is a requirement and we will endeavour supply the appropriate vehicle.

VAT

All the prices quoted on these pages are inclusive of VAT.
